Tesfaye Eticha (born June 27, 1974 ) is a Swiss (formerly Ethiopian ) long-distance runner specializing in marathons . Tesfaye, who lives in Geneva, competes for the Stade Genève association and has already won the Lausanne Marathon seven times and the Jungfrau Marathon four times.
Tesfaye Eticha, who belongs to the Oromo ethnic group , fled to Switzerland in July 1998 because of the political situation in Ethiopia. He is married to Hanna Fekede and has two children.
