Cross Country World Championships 2007
The 35th IAAF World Cross Country Championships the IAAF took place on 24. March 2007 in Mombasa ( Kenya instead).
course
The venue was the golf course on Mombasa Island , on which a 2 km long round had been set up, which could be shortened to 1.2 km. Including the 800 m from the start to the beginning of the lap, the men covered 12 km, the women and juniors 8 km and the juniors 6 km.
Competitions
The total prize pool for the adult competitions was $ 280,000, of which $ 30,000 was awarded to the winners of each race and $ 20,000 to each winning team.
