Bernard Kiprop Kipyego (born July 16, 1986 ) is a Kenyan long-distance runner .

In 2005 he won silver in the junior race of the Cross Country World Championships and in 2007 bronze in the adult race.

With his victory at the Berlin Half Marathon in 2009 with a world class time of 59:34 minutes, he made one of the best debuts over the half marathon distance of all time. At the World Athletics Championships in Berlin , he was fifth in the 10,000 meter run . As fourth in the Rotterdam Half Marathon , he soon improved his personal record to 59:10 minutes. In 2010 he made his debut on the marathon distance and finished fifth in the Rotterdam Marathon in 2:07:01 hours. In the same year he finished second in the Lille half marathon. In 2011, he won the Paris marathon after finishing second in the RAK half marathon .
