Janet Kisa

Janet Kisa (born December 5, 1992 ) is a Kenyan long-distance runner .

In 2011 she was fifth in the junior women race of the Cross Country World Championships in Punta Umbría and vice-junior African champion over 5000 m .

At the Cross Country World Championships 2013 in Bydgoszcz she was sixth in the individual ranking and won gold with the Kenyan team.

In 2014 she won the Nice Half Marathon , won over 5000 m silver at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and bronze at the African Athletics Championships in Marrakech and came fourth over 3000 m in the Athletics Continental Cup in Marrakech . At the end of the year she won the BOclassic .

In 2015 she was twelfth at the World Cross Country Championships in Guiyang and sixth over 5000 m at the World Athletics Championships in Beijing .
