Alana Boyd
Alana Boyd (born May 10, 1984 in Melbourne ) is an Australian pole vaulter .
At the World Athletics Championships in 2007 in Osaka and at the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008, she was eliminated from the qualification.
In 2010 she won the Commonwealth Games in Delhi and was sixth in the Athletics Continental Cup in Split .
At the 2012 Olympic Games in London, she was eleventh.
In 2008 and 2009 she became Australian Champion.
Alana Boyd is trained by Alex Parnov. Her first coach was her father, the former pole vaulter Ray Boyd , who, like her mother, sprinter Denise Boyd , once won the Commonwealth Games and took part in the Olympic Games.
