Regina George

Regina George (born February 17, 1991 in Chicago ) is a Nigerian sprinter of American origin who specializes in the 400-meter run .

In 2012 she won silver over 400 m at the African Athletics Championships in Porto-Novo . At the Olympic Games in London she reached the semi-finals in the individual competition and was disqualified with the Nigerian team in the final of the 4-by-400-meter relay .

At the 2013 World Athletics Championships in Moscow, she made it over 400 m again in the penultimate round and was sixth with the Nigerian relay.

In 2014 she did not start in the semifinals at the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Sopot over 400 m. At the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow she was eliminated in the individual competition in the semifinals and won silver in the relay competition, and at the African Athletics Championships in Marrakech she won the Nigerian 4-by-400-meter relay.

In 2015 she won the 4 x 200 meter relay with the Nigerian team at the IAAF World Relays in Nassau with the African record of 1: 30.52 min. At the World Championships in Moscow she failed over 400 m in the preliminary run and came in fifth place with the Nigerian relay.
