Kelly Massey (born January 11, 1985 in Coventry ) is a British sprinter who has specialized in the 400-meter run and is particularly successful with the British 4-by-400-meter relay.

Athletic career

In 2007 Kelly Massey took part in the World Student Games in Bangkok , was eliminated over 400 meters in the semi-finals and won the bronze medal with the British relay. At the Commonwealth Games 2010 in New Delhi, she reached the semi-finals over 400 m and won silver in the 4 x 400 meter relay with the English team . In 2011 she again won the bronze medal at the Universiade in Shenzhen, China, and again reached the semi-finals in the individual competition.

At the European Championships in Helsinki in 2012 , she was eliminated over 400 m in the preliminary run and was part of the British relay team, which took fourth place in the final. In 2014 she finished seventh in the individual competition at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and won bronze in the English 4 x 400 meter relay. At the European Championships in Zurich , she also won bronze in the British 4 x 400 meter relay. In 2015 she won relay silver with the British team at the European Indoor Championships in Prague . In 2016 she took part in the relay run to the British gold medal at the European Championships in Amsterdam . It was also used in the run-up to the Olympic Games and the British team won the bronze medal in the final. In 2017 she finished fourth in the British season at the World Relays in the Bahamas.

In 2010 she became English Champion and in 2014 British Champion.
