William Sharman (born September 12, 1984 ) is a British hurdler who specializes in the 110-meter distance .

At the European Athletics Championships in 2006 in Gothenburg, he was eliminated in the preliminary run.

In 2009 he finished fourth at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin . In 2010 he was disqualified in the semi-finals at the European Championships in Barcelona . At the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi he won silver starting for England .

At the 2011 World Cup in Daegu and the 2013 World Cup in Moscow, he finished fifth.

In 2014 he was seventh over 60 m hurdles at the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Sopot . He won silver at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and at the European Championships in Zurich , and he came third at the Athletics Continental Cup in Marrakech .

He was British champion over 110 m hurdles three times (2010, 2013, 2014) and once British indoor champion over 60 m hurdles (2014).
