Luke Cann (born July 17, 1994 in Melbourne ) is an Australian javelin thrower .
Athletic career
Luke Cann gained his first international experience at the 2010 Junior Ocani Championship in Sydney , where he won the bronze medal with 66.98 m. A year later he won the silver medal at the Commonwealth Youth Games in Douglas with 75.21 m. In 2012 he took part in the Junior World Championships in Barcelona , where he finished seventh with 70.15 m. Two years later he took part in the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow for the first time , where he also finished seventh with 75.93 m. Four years later, he again took part in the Commonwealth Games in his native Gold Coast , where he finished sixth with 76.99 m.
Cann is a graduate of Deakin University in Health and Physical Education .
