Onofrio Russo
Onofrio Russo (born July 29, 1953 in Bormio ) is a former Italian racing driver .
Racing career
Onofrio Russo was active in touring and sports car racing in the 1980s and 1990s . In 1987 he drove a Ford Sierra in the European Touring Car Championship . The best result of the season was fifth overall in the Anderstorp 500 km . Team partner was Tiziano Serratini . Winfried Vogt and Altfrid Heger won the race in a BMW M3 .
1993 he played together with Riccardo Agusta and Paolo Mondini on a Venturi 500LM the 24-hour race at Le Mans and ended it as the 23rd overall.
