Kimberley Mickle (born December 28, 1984 in Perth ) is an Australian javelin thrower .

The 2001 youth world champion had her first major success at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, where she finished fourth. In the same year she was fifth at the Athletics World Cup in Athens .

In 2009 she was eliminated from the qualification at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin and was sixth at the World Athletics Finals . The following year she won silver at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi and came third at the Athletics Continental Cup in Split .

In 2011 she finished sixth at the World Championships in Daegu , and in 2012 she did not get past the first round at the Olympic Games in London .

At the 2013 World Athletics Championships in Moscow, she won the silver medal with 66.60 m. In 2014 she won the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and came fourth in the Continental Cup in Marrakech .

So far she has been national champion nine times (2005-2007, 2009-2014). She set her personal best of 66.83 m on March 22, 2014 in Melbourne .

Kimberley Mickle is 1.68 m tall and weighs 69 kg. She is trained by Grant Ward and starts for the Mandurah Rockingham Athletics Club.
