Emily Chebet Muge (born February 18, 1986 in Bomet ) is a Kenyan long-distance runner .

In 2005 she was second in the Corrida de São João. At the African Championships in 2006 , she won the bronze medal over 10,000 meters . The following year she was second at the Crescent City Classic and ninth over 10,000 meters at the World Championships in Osaka .

At the 2010 Cross Country World Championships in Bydgoszcz, she won gold in a sprint duel with one second ahead of her compatriot Linet Chepkwemoi Masai . In June she set a course record in Freihofer's Run for Women over 5 km with 15:12 minutes and came second in the New York Mini 10K , and in October she won the 15 km run of the Istanbul Marathon .

In 2011 she was sixth in the Prague Half Marathon and second in the Tilburg Ladies Run , and in 2012 fourth in the World's Best 10K . At the 2013 World Championships in Moscow , she finished fourth over 10,000 meters in a new personal best of 30: 47.02 minutes and missed a medal by just four hundredths of a second.

At the 2014 African Championships in Marrakech , she won the silver medal in the 10,000-meter run.

In 2015 she was banned for four years for doping .
