Bomet is a city in Bomet County in Kenya . Tea and maize are mainly grown around Bomet.
Infrastructure
With Tenwek Hospital, Bomet has one of the largest Protestant mission hospitals in Kenya. Tenwek Hospital is a subsidiary of the African Gospel Church, which is part of the World Gospel Mission . In Bomet there is also a dormitory for the physically handicapped, which is run by the Roman Catholic Church . The Catholic Church in Bomet also maintains two primary schools and one secondary school.
