Michael Rimmer
Michael John Rimmer (born February 3, 1986 in Southport ) is a British middle-distance runner who specializes in the 800-meter course .
At the European Athletics Championships in 2006 in Gothenburg, he was eighth. He reached the semi-finals at the 2007 World Athletics Championships in Osaka, the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing and the 2009 World Championships in Berlin.
In 2010 he won the silver medal at the European Championships in Barcelona .
Michael Rimmer is 1.80 m tall and weighs 71 kg. He is trained by Norman Poole, starts for Liverpool Pembroke & Sefton and studies history at Liverpool John Moores University .
