Jessica Zelinka (* 3. September 1981 in London , Ontario ) is a Canadian athlete with the special disciplines heptathlon and 100-meter hurdles .

In the heptathlon she was eleventh at the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 2005 and just missed the medal ranks at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne with a fourth place. In 2007 she won gold in this discipline at the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro , and in 2008 she was sixth at the Olympic Games in Beijing .

After a baby break, she continued her career as a heptathlete in 2010 and won silver at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi . In 2011 she was ninth at the World Cup in Daegu .

In 2012 she qualified in both the 100 m hurdles and in the heptathlon for the Olympic Games in London and came seventh in both disciplines. At the 2013 World Cup in Moscow, she reached the semi-finals over 100 m hurdles.

So far she has been six times Canadian champion in heptathlon (2001, 2004, 2005, 2008, 2010, 2012) and once over 100 m hurdles (2012). She improved the national heptathlon record four times.

Jessica Zelinka is married to water polo player Nathaniel Miller .
