Porta Nuova (neighborhood)

The Porta Nuova district was created in the 2010s in Milan's business district, stretching from the Milano Porta Garibaldi train station to the Piazza della Repubblica and from the Porta Nuova to the Palazzo Lombardia . The urban development goal was to strengthen the districts of Porta Nuova , Porta Garibaldi and Isola .

The center of the district is the Biblioteca degli Alberi public park , around which the areas of Porta Nuova Garibaldi , Porta Nuova Varesine and Porta Nuova Isola with the buildings of Torre Unicredit , Torre Diamante , Bosco Verticale and others are arranged.

In 2018, the urban redevelopment project to create the Porta Nuova district received the MIPIM real estate fair's winning prize for the best urban renewal project .
