The Palazzo Lombardia (formerly Altra Sede della Regione Lombardia ) is a building complex made of reinforced concrete and glass in Milan near Porta Nuova. The 161.3 meter high and 39 storey tower is one of the tallest skyscrapers in Italy. It serves as the seat of the government and administration of the Lombardy region , which owns the complex. The upper floors of the tower are reserved for the public. At the foot of the tower, sinusoidal buildings with a height of up to 38 meters and seven to nine floors were built that house a post office , a bank, a kindergarten, a multi-purpose auditorium , bars, restaurants and cafes.
