David Raum (born April 22, 1998 in Nuremberg ) is a German soccer player who is under contract with the second division club SpVgg Greuther Fürth . He is mainly used in the left midfield and is a multiple junior national player.

Career

Raum was born in Nuremberg and started playing football at the local Tuspo Nuremberg at the age of four. At the age of eight he was accepted into the youth training center of SpVgg Greuther Fürth in the neighboring town and trained from then on.

As an A-youth , the midfielder was able to gain his first experience in the club's men's teams and was part of the professional team from the second division season 2017/18 . In the first two rounds of the DFB Cup 2017/18 he was able to score once, but did not make it to the final round with the team after a defeat against FC Ingolstadt 04 . In addition, Raum completed his first 20 games in the second-highest German division and has been a supplementary player since then, mostly on the left defensive flank. His contract, which expired in summer 2020, was extended by an option for another year in May of the same year.

National team

Raum completed a total of eleven international matches for the U19 and U20 of the DFB (1 goal).
