With his team he became vice-champion after a final defeat on penalties against Borussia Dortmund , where he missed his penalty. Although he was still eligible to play in the A-Jugend for one season, Tillmann moved up to the second team for the 2017/18 season . He also completed parts of the summer preparation under Carlo Ancelotti with the professional squad and was on the bench when he won the DFL Supercup at the beginning of August. Tillman played 31 games (six goals) for the second team in the fourth-class Regionalliga Bayern and also made one appearance (no goal) in the A-Junior Bundesliga and the UEFA Youth League.
