The 1. SC Feucht is a sports club from the Frankish place humid with divisions for football and bowling .
history
The first football club in Feucht was FC Feucht in 1920 . After being dissolved in the meantime, 1. SC Feucht was founded in 1927 as the successor . He played in the A-Class in 1984, made his first appearance nationwide when he was promoted to the regional league in 1995 and further to the Bayern league in 1997, and in the same year the Feuchter Waldstadion was inaugurated, which after promotion to the Regionalliga Süd in 2003 still had a few Underwent renovations and today offers space for around 3,500 visitors.
For the 2005/06 season, the club voluntarily waived the application for a license for the Regionalliga and withdrew to the Bayernliga. This step was justified with the high costs of the game operation, the low interest from sponsors and the disappointing audience participation. An application for preliminary bankruptcy filed in February 2005 could be withdrawn in April after the conclusion of new sponsorship contracts. After that, however, the financial problems worsened again, which is why a preliminary bankruptcy petition had to be submitted again on March 7, 2007 .
In terms of sport, the strongly rejuvenated team was unable to stay up in the Bayernliga in 2007, played for two more years in the Landesliga Mitte and in 2009 was relegated to the Regional Oberliga Mittelfranken. In 2015, they were promoted back to the Bayern League via the Landesliga.
