SV Bardenbach
The SV Bardenbach is a sports club from Bardenbach , a district of Wadern in the Merzig-Wadern district . The association was founded in 1946. The first women's soccer team has been playing in the Saarland Association League since relegation in 2014.
history
In 2009 the women's team was promoted to the Regionalliga Südwest . After two years in the lower part of the table, he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2012. There, however, the team was overwhelmed and had to relegate as bottom of the table with only two wins this season. At 1. FC Köln, the Bardenbachers lost 1:12. In the 2013/14 season, the SVB was passed through to the Association League.
The team has qualified for the DFB Cup three times . Each time the Bardenbach women were eliminated in the first round. In 2002, the B-Juniors of the club qualified for the German championship , but stayed in their preliminary group without winning points.
The men's first team has played in the district league since its promotion in 2006. In 2013 he was promoted to the Landesliga West. There the newcomer just barely missed another promotion in the 2013/14 season with third place in the table.
