Christina Arend (born January 6, 1986 in Neunkirchen ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Arend moved in the summer of 2003 from the lower class SV Bardenbach to the Bundesliga club 1. FC Saarbrücken . She remained loyal to this until 2011 and experienced the two relegations in 2004 and 2008 to the 2nd Bundesliga as well as the Bundesliga promotions in 2007 and 2009. The greatest success with the team in this period was reaching the DFB Cup final 2007/08 , which was lost with 1: 5 against 1. FFC Frankfurt , greatest personal success for Arend was the honor as second division top scorer in the season 2004/05 .
