Anouschka Bernhard

Anouschka Bernhard (born October 5, 1970 in Waiblingen ) is a former German soccer player .

Life

Anouschka Bernhard played for VfL Sindelfingen and FSV Frankfurt . In 1995 and 1998 the defensive player became German champion with the FSV. In 1994 and 1995 she won the women's national cup with the selection of Hesse, in 1995 she won the DFB Cup as her third title . She played her first of 47 international matches with the German national women's soccer team against China in 1991. She also played her last two international matches in 1997 against the Chinese national team. She scored her only goal in 1995 in a 6-1 win against Brazil. At the European Championships in 1992 she was fourth with the German team, in 1995 she was European Champion and Vice World Champion.

After her active career, she coached the FSV, later the student national team. From 2003 to 2011 Bernhard worked as a youth coordinator (U7 to U13) at Hertha BSC . In 2009, Bernhard completed his training as a football teacher as the second best , behind Holger Stanislawski . Since March 1, 2011, she has been the trainer of the German U-16 and U-17 juniors. On June 29, 2012, the U-17 team she trained won the U-17 European Championship. After the team failed to qualify for the European Championship in 2013 for the first time, they won the title again in the early finals in December 2013 , which means that the team also qualified for the 2014 U-17 World Cup. In May 2016, the U-17 juniors she trained won the U-17 European Championship for the fifth time. At the U-17 World Cup in Jordan in autumn 2016, they were eliminated in the quarter-finals against Spain. The German team won the final against Spain in the 2017 Women's U-17 European Football Championship .
