The 2014/15 season was the eleventh season of the women's regional football league as the third highest division. 62 teams played in five groups for promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga or against relegation to the Association / Oberliga.

North

SV Henstedt-Ulzburg became champions and promoted . The TuRa Meldorf and the SV Ahlerstedt / Ottendorf were relegated . Newcomers from the lower leagues are TV Jahn Delmenhorst , ATS Buntentor , and TSV Duwo 08 .

    Promotion lap

    The promotion rounds were canceled in the 2014/15 season. Since no north German team was relegated from the 2nd Bundesliga, three places were available for the 2015/16 season. These are taken by TSV Duwo 08 from Hamburg , ATS Buntentor from Bremen and TV Jahn Delmenhorst from Lower Saxony . No team from Schleswig-Holstein had applied. Likewise, the master of the upper league Lower Saxony-East Sparta Göttingen renounced the promotion.

    The BSV Al-Dersimspor had to withdraw its team before the start of the season due to personnel concerns and was thus determined as the first relegated. The teams of SV Eintracht Leipzig-Süd meet with those of FFV Leipzig after the season . Champion was Blau-Weiß Hohen Neuendorf , who thus managed a direct return to the 2nd Bundesliga . From this, in turn, 1. FC Union Berlin and Magdeburg FFC descended. The 1. FFV Erfurt also managed to return to the regional league by winning the promotion round.

    Promotion lap

    Six clubs from the regional associations have applied for a place in the 2015/16 regional league season. From Berlin , the applied SFC Stern 1900 , from Brandenburg of FSV Babelsberg 74 from Saxony the SV Johannstadt 90 and the Bishop FV 08 and from Thuringia the 1. FFV Erfurt and Weimar FFC . Bischofswerda and Weimar missed the promotion round due to their placements. The remaining teams were drawn for two games, where the promoted players are played in the first and second leg. The first legs took place on May 31, the second legs on June 7, 2015.

    Borussia Mönchengladbach became champions and promoted. The second team of VfL Bochum also had to relegate due to the withdrawal of the first team from the 2nd Bundesliga. The relegated athletes were the FFC Heike Rheine and the Düsseldorf CfR left. Arminia Bielefeld , SV Budberg and Vorwärts Spoho Köln rose from the association leagues .

    In the south, Eintracht Wetzlar secured the championship and promotion four game days before the end of the season. Due to the financial problems of the entire club, the Eintracht footballers split off as FSV Hessen Wetzlar . The relegation places occupied the second team of VfL Sindelfingen and the third team of 1. FFC Frankfurt. SV Frauenbiburg , SC Opel Rüsselsheim and the second team of SC Sand rose from the top leagues . Rüsselsheim benefited from the fact that the Hessen league champion SV Glasseszell renounced the promotion.
