The SV Eintracht Solingen is a sports club from Solingen . The club offers football , self-defense and gymnastics . The first women's soccer team played in the Regionalliga West from 2013 to 2016 .

history

The association was founded in September 1968. The men's team of SV Eintracht only played at the district level. The club has not had a men's team in play since 2011. The women of the SV Eintracht, who made it into the Association League Niederrhein in 2005, are more successful. There the team initially shuttled between mediocrity and relegation battle. After a third place in the 2011/12 season, the team moved into the top group. A year later, after a 4-0 win at Viktoria Krefeld, Eintracht became Niederrheinmeister and rose to the third-class Regionalliga West. In 2015, the relegation was only possible thanks to the withdrawal of the second team from VfL Bochum . In the following season, however, after three years of membership in the regional league, relegation to the Lower Rhine league was certain.

The second women's team currently plays in the district league and finished the 2017/18 season in 8th place. The coach of the second women's team is Christian Weide and Dirk Kirschbaum.
