Celso Borges Mora (born May 27, 1988 in San José ) is a Costa Rican soccer player . The midfielder , who won five titles in the Costa Rican Primera División , has spent most of his career in Norway and Sweden . After his debut in the Costa Rican national team in 2008, he took part in the CONCACAF Gold Cup and the 2014 and 2018 World Championships several times .

Career

Career start in Costa Rica

As the son of the multiple Costa Rican national player and coach Alexandre Guimarães , who u. a. As a player in the 1990 World Cup and as a selection coach in the 2002 and 2006 World Cup tournaments , Borges came into contact with football at an early age and made his debut in January 2006 for the CD Saprissa, which is based in his hometown .
