The A Lyga 2019 was the 30th season of the highest Lithuanian league in men's soccer . It began on March 2, 2019 and ended on November 27, 2019 with the 5th matchday of the championship round. The defending champion was Sūduva Marijampolė .

mode

As in the previous season, the league was played with eight teams. Each team played four times against each other team, twice at home and twice away. In the event of a tie, the direct comparison counted . Then the first six clubs played in a single round (5 games each) for the championship. The last one was relegated directly, the penultimate one had to go into relegation.
