The Pepsideild 2019 was the 108th season of the highest Icelandic football league . It began on April 26, 2019 and ended on August 19, 2019 with the 22nd matchday.

The league's twelve teams played against each other in a simple round-trip round, so that each team played 22 games. The last two teams were relegated at the end of the season.
The champion is admitted to qualify for the 2020/21 Champions League , the second and third placed team and the cup winner for the Europa League .

Compared to the previous year, the composition of the league changed as follows: Fjölnir Reykjavík and Keflavík ÍF were relegated to the 1st deild karla (2nd level) as eleventh and twelfth-placed teams in the 2018 season . The local master ÍA Akranes and the second-placed HK Kópavogur rose against it in the first division.
