The Icelandic Football Championship 2000 was the 89th season of the highest Icelandic football league , and was also known as Landssímadeild (after the sponsor Lands síminn ). The league began on May 18, 2000 and ended with the last games on September 18, 2000.
KR Reykjavík was able to repeat the success of the previous year with his 22nd title so far .
