The 2003 Icelandic Football Championship was the 92nd season of Iceland's top football league , and was also known as Landsbankadeild (after sponsor Landsbanki ). The league began on May 18, 2003 and ended with the last games on September 20, 2003.
Ten teams took part in the competition, which was held in a simple round trip. KR Reykjavík won the club's 24th title by successfully defending their title, and the fourth in the past five seasons. At the other end of the table, the two promoted Þróttur Reykjavík and Valur Reykjavík had to relegate back to the 1st deild karla .
