Bardsragujn chumb 2002

The Bardsragujn chumb 2003 was the twelfth season of the highest Armenian league in men's football . The season began on April 12, 2003 and ended on November 22, 2003 and was played in a double round. Each team plays four times against each other team, twice at home and twice away.

The field of participants consisted of eight clubs. Zvartnots-AAL Yerevan and newcomers FC Armavir had not paid the entry fee. Lernajin Arzach had withdrawn in protest against the exclusion of sponsors. Ararat Yerevan refused to send five players to the international match against Israel. This led to the exclusion. FC Spartak Yerevan joined FC Banants Yerevan after their dissolution .

Three game days before the end of the season, Pyunik Yerevan was able to defend the title again and qualified for the UEFA Champions League . In the UEFA Cup , runner-up Banants Yerevan, Shirak Gyumri in third, and cup winner MIKA Ashtarak played. The bottom of the table Araka Ararat rose to the Aradżin chumb, the second Armenian league.

With 45 goals this season, FC Banants Yerevan's Ara Hakobjan is the record scorer.
