The Wyschtscha Liha 2002/03 ( Ukrainian Вища ліга ) was the 12th edition of the highest Ukrainian league in men's football . The season started on July 7, 2002 and ended on June 18, 2003.

The league has grown to sixteen teams this season. They played against each other twice on a total of 30 match days, divided into a first half and a second half.

Dynamo Kiev won the tenth championship ahead of defending champions Shakhtar Donetsk. The bottom of the table was relegated to the Perscha Liha . Metalurh Zaporizhia was able to keep the league after FK Oleksandrija went bankrupt.
