The Premjer-Liha 2016/17 ( Ukrainian Прем'єр-ліга ) was the 26th season of the highest Ukrainian league in football and the ninth edition under this name (previously: Wyschtscha Liha, German Supreme League). Only twelve teams have participated in the competition since this season.
The defending champion was Dynamo Kiev , promoted from the Perscha Liha was FK Sirka Kropywnyzkyj (formerly FK Sirka Kirowohrad).
