October 1989 in Leningrad , Russian SFSR , Soviet Union ) is a Ukrainian football player . He has been under contract with West Ham United since 2018 .
Career
societies
Yarmolenko started playing football at FK Desna Chernihiv . There he moved from the youth in the course of the 2006/07 season to the men's team. Dynamo Kiev signed the striker in January 2007. He first played in the second team of the Ukrainian record champions. In his first two seasons he was a substitute in the first team before he established himself in the course of the 2009/10 season on the side of Andrij Shevchenko as a regular in the Premjer-Liha .
On August 28, 2017, Jarmolenko moved to the Bundesliga for Borussia Dortmund and signed a contract that runs until 2021. He scored his first Bundesliga goal for BVB with the hoe on September 30, 2017 (7th matchday) in a 2-1 away win against FC Augsburg .
For the 2018/19 season Jarmolenko moved to West Ham United in the English Premier League . He signed a contract running until June 30, 2022.
National team
National coach Oleksiy Mychajlytschenko made Jarmolenko debut for the Ukrainian national team in 2009 . At the European Football Championship in France in 2016 , he was included in Ukraine 's EM squad and played the three group games against Germany, Northern Ireland and Poland in the starting line-up. The team was eliminated from the bottom of the group.
