Málaga CF

Fornals quickly established himself as a rotation player for the first division in his first season in 2015/16 . His first league goal was on November 28 (13th matchday) in a 2-2 draw against Granada CF in La Rosaleda . This hit was his only one in 27 league appearances this season.

In the following season 2016/17 he established himself in the starting lineup of the Malaguistas . This season he scored six goals and made three assists in 32 league games.

Villarreal CF
