Jeremy Ngakia (born September 7, 2000 in Deptford ) is an English football player who has been under contract with the first division club Watford since August 2020 .

Career

Jeremy Ngakia, who was born in the London borough of Deptford , attended Ballers Football Academy before he was discovered by West Ham United's leaders at the age of 14 and moved to their youth academy. Before that, he had already successfully completed a trial training session at Chelsea FC . With the Hammers he rose in various age groups and was retrained from right winger to right full-back during this time . In the 2017/18 season he played for the U23 team in Premier League 2 for the first time, but in this, as in the following season 2018/19, also played numerous league games in the U18. On January 29, 2020 (18th matchday), Ngakia made his debut in the 2-0 home defeat against leaders Liverpool FC in the Premier League . He started regularly in the next league games, but made headlines off the field in June 2020 because he refused to extend his contract, which expired at the end of the same month. On June 25, 2020, this was also confirmed by the club, so Ngakia left the club on July 1, 2020 for free.

On August 15, 2020, Jeremy Ngakia moved to the second division club Watford FC .
