Pontus Jacob Ragne Dahlberg (born January 21, 1999 in Älvängen ) is a Swedish football goalkeeper .
Career
society
Dahlberg started his career at Älvängens IK. Then he came to IFK Göteborg . In March 2015 he was against BK Häcken for the first time in the professional squad. He made his debut for this in July 2016 when he started the second leg of the first round of the Europa League qualifying against Llandudno FC .
In April 2017 he finally made his debut in the Allsvenskan when he was used from the beginning on the first matchday of the 2017 season against Malmö FF . At the end of the season he had 29 league appearances to book.
In January 2018 he moved to England for Watford FC , where he received a contract that ran until June 2023, but was loaned straight back to Gothenburg.
National team
Dahlberg played for a Swedish national team for the first time in 2014: In August 2014 he played for the U-15 team against Finland . Later he was also used for the U-16 selection .
With the U-17 team , he took part in the European Championship in 2016 , where the Netherlands failed in the quarter-finals . Dahlberg was used in all four Swedish matches.
In March 2017, Dahlberg made his debut for the U-21 national team in a friendly against the Czech Republic . In the same year he took part in the European Championship with the U-21 team of Sweden . Sweden was eliminated third in Group A in the preliminary round. Dahlberg was not used during the tournament.
He made his senior national team debut in January 2018 when he started a friendly against Estonia .
