Abdoulaye Doucouré (born January 1, 1993 in Meulan-en-Yvelines ) is a French football player of Malian descent. The defensive midfielder plays for the English first division club Watford .

Career

Doucouré started his career with OFC Les Mureaux in 2004 and moved to the youth department of Stade Rennes in 2007 . He made his competitive debut for the first team on April 27, 2013 in a 2-0 away win against Stade Brest . In February 2016, Watford FC signed him , with whom he signed a contract until June 2020. However, he was loaned to Granada CF for the second half of the 2015/16 season.
