Vasyl Wassylowytsch Kobin ( Ukrainian Василь Васильович Кобін ; English transcription Vasyl Vasilyevich Kobin * 24. May 1985 in Strabytschowo , Zakarpattia Oblast , Ukrainian SSR , Soviet Union , now Ukraine ) is a Ukrainian footballer who for FC Tobol in Kazakhstan Premjer league play .
Club career
Wassyl Kobin began his career with Zakarpattya Uzhhorod in his homeland, the Transcarpathian Oblast on the Slovak border. He had already played there in his youth. In 2004 he was with the club champion in the second Ukrainian league and rose to the Premjer-Liha , the top division in the country. When he could still achieve relegation the following year with his club, Uzhhorod rose again in 2006 as bottom of the table. Kobin then left the club and moved to the first division promoted Karpaty Lviv . As a regular player he reached a place in the midfield of the league with this club in the following three years until 2009. He was then signed by Shakhtar Donetsk , one of the most successful Ukrainian clubs and then reigning UEFA Cup winners. With Donetsk he won the national championship, the cup and the super cup several times in the following years. In the right full-back position, however, he was never able to prevail against the Croatian international Darijo Srna . Wassyl Kobin always ran up when Srna was injured or suspended. From August 2014 to March 2015 it was awarded to the league competitor Metalist Kharkiv and immediately afterwards to the FK Shakhtsor Salihorsk in Belarus until June 2015 . He was regularly used at both clubs. In his regular role as a substitute for Darijo Srna this did not change anything on his return to Donetsk. In the summer of 2017 he left the club after eight years and joined the first division promoted NK Weres Rivne . He stayed there until the winter break and then moved to the Kazakh first division club Tobyl Qostanai .
National team
During his successful first season with Donetsk, Vasyl Kobin was also appointed to the Ukrainian national football team for the first time . By 2011 he had completed eleven international matches.
