mode

The League 1 played with 14 teams. After a main round consisting of 26 game days, the league was divided into a championship round and a relegation round. The points scored were shared after the main round. Subject to the withdrawal of licenses from other teams, the two last-placed teams relegated to League II , from which two teams rose (the first two from each of the two seasons). The twelfth of the table had to be relegated to remain in League 1.

There were three points for a win, one point for a draw and no points for a defeat. If two or more teams were tied at the end of the season, it was not the goal difference that decided , but the direct comparison.
