Divizia A 1968/69

The Divizia A 1969/70 was the 32nd season in the history of the Romanian football league Divizia A. It began on August 16, 1969 and ended on July 22, 1970 . Games were closed from mid-December to early March ( winter break ).

Master was again UTA Arad .

The 16 teams played against each other twice on 30 match days. The two last-placed teams got into the Divizia B from. There were two points for a win, one point for a draw and no points for a defeat. If two or more teams were tied at the end of the season, the goal difference decided .
