Divizia A 1964/65

The Divizia A 1965/66 was the 28th season in the history of the Romanian football league Divizia A. It began on August 15, 1965 and ended on July 10, 1966 . The game was closed from mid-December to mid-March ( winter break ).

Master was Petrolul Ploieşti .

The 14 teams played against each other twice on 26 match days. The two last-placed teams got into the Divizia B from. There were two points for a win, one point for a draw and no points for a defeat. If two or more teams were tied at the end of the season, the goal difference decided from this season .
