The Divizia B 1964/65 was the 25th season of the second highest Romanian football league . Siderurgistul Galaţi and Stiinta Timişoara rose in the Divizia A on.

The Divizia B was held in two seasons with 14 teams each. The two winners were promoted to Divizia A, while the last two clubs in each group were relegated. There were two points for a win, one point for a draw and no point for a loss. In the event of a tie at the end of the season, the direct comparison first decided .
