The Liga II 2014/15 was the 75th season of the second highest Romanian football league . It started on August 30, 2014 and ended on May 30, 2015 . From the beginning of December 2014 to the end of February 2015, games were suspended ( winter break ). Promoted to League 1 were FC Voluntari and ACS Poli Timișoara .

mode

The League II was held in two seasons with 12 and 11 teams. The six teams placed first qualified for the promotion round, the six and five other teams for the relegation round. The results obtained among each other have been adopted. The first two teams placed in each promotion round rose to League 1 , while the last two teams in the two relegation rounds had to relegate to League III .

Second teams from first division clubs, clubs that were founded less than three years ago, as well as clubs with tax debts were not eligible for promotion. There were three points for a win, one for a draw and no point for a loss. If there was a tie at the end of the season, it was not the goal difference that decided , but the direct comparison .
