The Divizia B 1968/69 was the 29th season of the second highest Romanian football league . Steagul roşu Brasov and CFR Cluj got into the Divizia A on.

mode

After the increase, the Divizia B was carried out in two seasons with 16 teams each. The two winners were promoted to Divizia A, while the last two clubs in each group were relegated. There were two points for a win, one point for a draw and no point for a loss. If two or more teams were tied at the end of the season, the goal difference decided first .
