The Divizia A 1994/95 was the 55th season of the second highest Romanian football league and the third of the Divizia A as only the second highest football league. FC Selena Bacau , Politehnica Timișoara and Politehnica Iași on the play-offs rose to the Divizia Națională .

mode

The league was played in two seasons with 18 teams each. The two winners rose directly to the Divizia Națională, while the runners-up could also rise through the play-offs. The two bottom of the table were relegated directly to the third-class Divizia B. The two 15th and 16th fought in the relegation against the runner-up in Divizia B against relegation.

For the first time there were three points for a win, one for a draw and no point for a defeat. If two or more teams were tied at the end of the season, it was not the goal difference that decided , but the direct comparison .
