The Divizia B 1946/47 was the eighth season of the second highest Romanian football league and the first after a five - year war - related break. As the season winners, Unirea Tricolor Bucharest , FC Ploiesti and Dermata Cluj rose to Divizia A. The fourth promoted Karres Mediaș qualified through the play-offs.

• Re-admitted after being banned by the fascist regime: AMEF Arad , Feroemail Ploieşti .

• Moved from Hungary to Romania due to the Paris Peace Treaty of 1947: CFR Târgu Mureș , Crișana Oradea , Dermata Cluj , Oltul Sfântu Gheorghe , Phoenix Baia Mare , Stăruința Satu Mare and Victoria Cluj .

The Divizia B was held in three seasons, one of which played with 15 and two with 14 teams. The winners of the three groups went directly into the Divizia A on. The three second placed and the best third played the fourth climber. There were two points for a win, one point for a draw and no point for a loss. In the event of a tie at the end of the season, the direct comparison first decided .
