Divizia A 1963/64

The Divizia A 1964/65 was the 27th season in the history of the Romanian football league Divizia A. It began on August 30, 1964 and ended on June 27, 1965 . Games were closed from the end of November to mid-March ( winter break ).

Dinamo Bucharest became champions for the fourth time in a row .

The 14 teams played against each other twice on 26 match days. The two last-placed teams got into the Divizia B from. There were two points for a win, one point for a draw and no points for a defeat. If two or more teams were tied at the end of the season, the goal quotient decided .
