The Divizia A 1950 was the 13th season in the history of the Romanian football league Divizia A. It started on March 19, 1950 and ended on November 19, 1950.

After the decision to switch the game operations to the calendar year mode was decided this year, the season was carried out with twelve clubs. They played against each other twice on 22 match days. The last two teams were relegated to Divizia B , from which two teams rose. There were two points for a win, one point for a draw and no points for a defeat.
