There Bud achieved his breakthrough as a goalscorer. After the following promotion he stayed loyal to Liberty until the winter break of 2008/09, before he had the opportunity to move to League 1, in which he joined Gaz Metan Mediaș .
With Gaz Metan Bud was able to secure relegation in the 2008/09 season . During the 2009/10 winter break , he had the opportunity to move to a top Romanian club when the reigning cup winner CFR Cluj signed him. In the winter break 2012/13 he returned to Cluj, which agreed a loan deal with second division club FC Bihor Oradea for the second half of the season . In the summer of 2013 Bud finally moved to Debreceni VSC in Hungary. However, he was not used there and returned to Romania in August 2013, where he joined Gaz Metan Mediaș . At the beginning of 2014, league rival Pandurii Târgu Jiu signed him . There he only made six appearances in the second half of the 2013/14 season and dissolved his contract in April 2014.
In the summer of 2014, Bud moved to FC Milsami in the Moldovan Divizia Națională . There he could find his goal danger again. In February 2016 he returned to Romania where he joined CFR Cluj.
